how to change the screen orientation on my hp g7 laptop (Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000)

the option just isn't there, can someone please help, no matter how i phrase it, Google has not been able to give me an answer

i would like to change my screen orientation from landscape to portrait on my laptop, its was very ease on my windows 7 pc, is it just not possible on a laptop?

i am using Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000, and my laptop is a hp G7, i know i have both integrated and dedicated graphics, i don't know which is which and if i switched will i be able to do the rotation?

please help

Hi Adrian,

Are you trying to rotate your screen 90 degrees in order to make it portrait mode? If so you can do this by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Left Arrow (or Right Arrow). These are hot keys that are set in our Intel® Graphics and Media Control Panel. (Ctrl + Alt + F12 -> Options and Support -> Hot Key Manager).
