WHEN I ENABLE THE HYPER THREADING IT SHUT DOWN 2 OF THE 4 CORES. SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE CPU? BECAUSE I LOOK IN THE DEVICE MANAGER I SEE THE 8 THREATS BUT WHEN I GO TO LOOK IN THE RESOURCE MONITOR I ONLY SEE 4 THREATS WORKING.

I would suggest running the Intel® Processor Identification Utility to determine if the processor is being properly recognized.

You can download the Intel® Processor Identification Utility at:

If the Intel® Processor Identification Utility reports incorrect information please copy / past the log fine generated by this tool on the forum so I can take a look on it.

Also install the latest BIOS version for your motherboard and then run the Intel processor diagnostic tool:
