Hi There,

I am having a radio problem with the mentioned network adapter.

When I ran Manual Diagnostics the test fails on the first "Hardware Test" with this result: Wireless Hardware id not bound to transport driver"

The device is installed and it shows under ipconfig /all as below:

Wireless LAN adapter WiFi 2:

Media State . . . . . . . . . . . : Media disconnected

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :

Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6205

Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX (changed MAC)

DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : Yes

Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes

I have installed all sorts of different drivers at no avail.

I have done:

Netsh int ip reset

Netsh winsock reset

I have this device installed on a Lenovo T420 and have installed/uninstalled Access Connections and also ran a Wi-Fi Quick test and the Radio Enabled test failed. The result code is WWF00F001-UIUBQD.

I have checked the card cables and exhausted every possible solution on the web. I am no stuck so need specialist help!

Thanks in advance for your help.o intel

Please note that what you are trying is an unsupported integration since Intel Wireless Adapters are meant to be professionally installed by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) technicians on certified systems only.

Your system is currently certified with the FCC in compliance with the International Special Committee for Radio Interference standards for radiated and conducted electromagnetic interference, installing any other adapter might void this certification, apart from the fact that an aftermarket adapter might not work correctly; in this regards Intel is precluded to provide any recommendation.

We recommend contacting the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to determine which product is approved for use in your computer. Only your system manufacturer is entitled to provide the list of validated and certified adapters that are compatible with your system and the proper means to do the hardware exchange for you.

Installing an aftermarket wireless adapter in your laptop can cause several issues which may affect usage of the wireless adapter or laptop.
