Firmware Update Tool freezes at License Agreement screen

JGini

I've recently buy the Intel® SSD 520 Series (120GB, 2.5in SATA 6Gb/s, 25nm, MLC) I've downloaded the Firmware Update Tool v2.0.4 and create both a CD and USB bootable drive to apply possibly firmware updates but... as I said they're both getting freeze at License Agreement screen

Any ideas why this happens?

Hello jginis,

You may want to connect the Intel® SSD 520 to the SATA 0 port in your motherboard; if the SATA controller mode is RAID, try with AHCI or IDE. Otherwise try using a completely different system.

I hope this helps.

I've tried ALL the SATA ports without any success. What do you mean by different system? A new pc/laptop?

Yes, you may try using any other computer. However, specifically for the Intel® SSD 520 Series, I need to correct my previous response since this drive does not have any new firmware update, I am sorry I did not see that before.
