Hi all,
i would like to update the processor of my laptop. currently it contains a coe 2 duo T7250 (Merom series) processor. can i replace it with one of T9300/T9500 (Penryn series)? The difference that im concerning about is T7250 is a 65nm processor whlile the other one is 45nm processor but both have the same # of pins and supports same socket PPGA478 (http://ark.intel.com/Compare.aspx?ids=31728,33918 http://ark.intel.com/Compare.aspx?ids=31728,33918,).
anybody got any idea about that?

Hello; I recommend that before you purchase the new processor, contact your laptop manufacturer, check the list of supported processors and confirm that the T9300 and T9500 are listed as compatible. This is because, even though your current system has the same processor socket type as the T9300 and T9500, they may not be compatible
