Hello, I have a big problem with Intel HD 4600 drivers on a Toshiba L50 1 CU laptop. After the installing of Windows 7 and also Windows 8.1 i tried all day to reinstall intel video drivers (downloaded from toshiba support page and from intel support page) without any result. In both cases the video driver stop working and the pc is practically unusable because, without the intel graphic card installed, also the Nvidia card doesn't work. With the generic Windows video drivers is all ok but, uninstalling intel video drivers, is impossible to use Nvidia card.
What can I do? is there any old driver that works properly?
Thanks!

Hello walter.intel,
It is important to say that OEM drivers include special features that will work specifically for your computer. This is why installing the driver from the Computer Manufacture is very important and it is more important when the system has a hybrid graphics configuration.
You can try installing our generic driver but it does not include the special features from the OEM design. Here you can download the driver from our side:

If you have problems during the installation, try the steps mentioned here:
/docs/DOC-22542 https://communities.intel.com/docs/DOC-22542
My best recommendation is to install the Intel® driver first and then the driver for NVidia card.

Hello Kevin_intel,
very thanks for your answer. Unfortunately I tried to install generic intel drivers as you said but with no results.
Probabily the laptop has hardware problems.
Best regards.

I am sorry to hear that. At this point I think you should contact the Computer Manufacture. Here you can get the contact information:
