Hello. I tried to install Intel HAXM and I received this error "XD not supported: This computer does not support Intel Execute Disable Bit(XD) or it is disable in the BIOS.".
My processor model is E6500 2.93GHz: http://ark.intel.com/products/42805/Intel-Pentium-Processor-E6500-2M-Cache-2_93-GHz-1066-FSB ARK | Intel® Pentium® Processor E6500 (2M Cache, 2.93 GHz, 1066 FSB)
At the link above, the official specifications says that this type of processor has included the feature Execute Disable Bit but...
CPUID and SISoftware Sandra don't recognize XD/NX feature.
In BIOS Advanced TAB - Configuration CPU and in Security TAB I don't find any options related to XD feature.
I removed my antivirus for interference reasons. (As I read on forums).
Can anyone help me?
Thanks

Hello ciprian90,
Please make sure the Virtualization Technology is enabled at the BIOS level so the feature will be functional.
I found a very good video about the HAXM installation. Please check it out:

Hi Kevin,
I resolved this trouble. The problem was that in BIOS(an old version) I wasn't finding where to enable "Execute Disable Bit" feature.
After I read the manual for my motherboard I find that to enable this feature I needed to go In BIOS - Advanced and enable the "No Execute (NX) Memory Protection" feature.
After this change I didn't face any errors.
