I am ipgrading the processor in my laptop. I did some research online and found that my laptop is compatible with a T5250 processor. The processor in my laptop is Pentium M 750. Do I need to upgrade the Bios and if so, what are the steps to follow.. Thank you for your help..

The Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo Mobile processor T5250 is based on a different technology than the Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 750, I do not believe that the laptop supprting the Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 750 will support also the Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo Mobile processor T5250, anyways, I would recommend contacting the laptop manufacturer for them to provide you a list of fully supported processors for your laptop, and if it does support the Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo Mobile processor T5250, then check with them to see if the laptop requires a BIOS update, keep in mind that the compatibility between the processor and the laptop is determined by the laptop manufacturer, not by the processor manufacturer.
