Iris 5100 and win 10 on bootcamp Mac Mini problems

This is with the game SWTOR and the support forums there and Bioware Tech support said I had to come here for help

Bioware says its not their problem but a driver issue... Note that the game was fin on this computer under windows 8.1 (aside from a problem that was "fixed" by setting the shader to low in the games graphic options)

Is there anything i can do other than wait for an new driver to be released? Is there a beta driver that I can try to see if it fixes the problem?

I just found a slightly newer driver

64bit - win64_15407.4279.exe

but the problem remains exactly the same as before 3 restarts of the driver and then the driver is locked out

The full thread on the isssue can be seen at

http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=837679 STAR WARS: The Old Republic - After Win 10 UD from 8.1 fails to launch and BSD of VIDEO_TDR FAILURE (idgkmd64.sys)

That thread title was from the original problem and was seen after login to Char select I then changed the driver that Windows 10 install provided which I think was older than the the one I have been working with this weekend

BSD with VIDEO_TDR FAILURE (idgkmd64.sys) the online search on this problem msg. said to be sure video drivers are up to date so I ran the Intel driver update utility and installed the Intel Iris Graphics 5100 driver version 10.18.15.4256 of 7/17/2015

and I get the

"The best driver software for your device is already installed"

" Windows has determined the driver software for your device is up to date"

I then got and ran Intel(R) Driver Update Utility 2.2 and installed again and it seems to be the same one though the date is now 08/05/2015

as you can see here

Version: 15.40.4.64.4256 (Previously Released)

Date: 08/05/2015

Size: 175.08 MB

Language: English

Operating Systems: Windows® 10, 64-bit

All of this caused the original BSD error outlined above to what it now does as outlined below

a problem is seen when I hit play next to a char name at char select or if I enter the game and then enter a conversation with a NPC i get what you see below noth this is on a Win 10 machine not win 8(R) as the msg states I append a fresh DXdiag at the end of this msg

Display driver stopped responding and has recovered

Display driver Intel HD Graphics Drivers

for Windows 8(R) stopped responding

and has successfully recovered

The above Msg is seen three times and it looks like this

this warning popup( with the Yellow X in a circle at the left top of the pop up) in the lower right corner blanks and reappears Three times and is replaced by another popup of the same sort in the same place

Application has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware

Application swtor.exe has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware

At which point the game is frozen and must be quit from the task bar.

Please note that the error msg are calling out a display driver for Windows 8(R) even though this is on a windows 10 64 computer. Could there be parts of the windows 8 driver that failed to be removed when the computer was changed from 8.1 64 to 10 64?

is there any hope of a fix for this? SWTOR was fine on this computer under Win 8.1 64 except the shader setting had to be set to Low.
