Graphics and Display Adapters. Need Help!!

Hello,

On my device manager under display adapters it says Intel(R) HD Graphics Family but in the adapter string it says I have Intel(R) HD Graphics 4400. Does this mean I have Graphics 4400?

If I do have Graphics 4400 I tried installing it in display adapters by

Update Driver Software - Browse my computer for driver software - Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer - Intel(R) HD Graphics 4400

But then it says the driver selected for this device does not support this version of windows

Im running a HP Probook 430 G2 with 64-bit Windows 10 Pro.

Could I get help on how to install this.

Thanks

Hello CeldoPadeldo,

Intel® is a supplier of laptop components and does not manufacture or sell complete laptop systems. The software provided by Intel® is a generic version. Each laptop computer original equipment manufacturer (OEM) may have altered the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to the software or software packaging they provide.

In this particular case, I suggest either contacting your computer manufacturer or visiting their website in order to download the drivers needed as these drivers may have been modified by them.

In order to find out if you have Intel® HD Graphics or Intel(R) HD Graphics 4400 you a may run the https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/300887 msinfo32 file on your computer and check the model of your processor. Then all you need to do is visit http://ark.intel.com/ ARK | Your Source for Intel® Product Specifications and check your processor specifications in order to confirm which Intel® HD Graphics version you have.

Additionally, you may try http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect?iid=dc_iduu Intel® Driver Update Utility

Regards
