P4 630 & 631 Processors

can someone try to help me understand what the difference is between these two processors? The 630 & 631 are both 3GHz, 800MHz FSB, 2MB L2 Cache...other than a small voltage difference I saw on some spec sheet, I can't really find the differences listed in writing.

I guess the reason I'm asking is because I have a Intel Pentium 4 Processor 631, which apprently my motherboard doesn't support, but it does support the Intel Pentium 4 630 processor.

Thank you.

Hi there,

Use this website to compare both CPU Pentium 630 & 631

Actually one is 65nm and the other is 90 nm also, anyway you will get the info on the tool itself.

Website: http://ark.intel.com/ProductCollection.aspx?familyID=581 http://ark.intel.com/ProductCollection.aspx?familyID=581

Go to Compare it will compare the two CPU.

Kind Regards,
