i3 HD Graphics and pixel shader 3.0?

I'm trying to play a game called Magicka.

They say it doesn't support integrated graphics.

When I asked if a laptop with integrated graphics could ever run the game,

someone said:

"Magicka is using pixelshader 3.0, which means that it depends on running programs on the GPU that your hardware simply can't support. 

Except for a rewrite of the rendering engine, I can pretty certainly say that the answer is no."

So is this accurate? Does my i3-m350's integrated graphics not have pixel shader 3.0?

Actually, the Intel HD Graphics supports shader model 4.0, this is enabled after you install the latest graphics driver.

Intel has released a list of tested games for your graphics controller. If your game is not on the list, I am afraid has not been tested.

Hello i have a laptop HP 630 with this specs:

Procesor:Intel(R)Core(TM) i3 CPU M380 @ 2.53DHz

Installed memory(RAM) 4.00 GB

System tipe: 64-bit Operating System

Windows 7 Proffesional ,Service Pack 1

Intel HD Graphics (core i3) Driver version 8.15.10.2202 , Direct X Version 10.0

Video BIOS :2111.0

I don t know what version is on my notebook because of this I detailed all the components on it ,probably is intel hd graphics 2000 or 3000, please tell me if it supports pixel shader 3 this model or if they are new drivers to improve the performance for this model.I want to know what games can I play with this laptop and if it is a list made for my model processor.I want to know if I can play Counter Strike Global Offensive, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and 3, Battlefield: Bad Company, Street Fighter IV and others.

Based on the processor specifications, the graphics controller on your system is first generation Intel HD Graphics; this is not HD 2000 or 3000.

The Intel HD Graphics supports shader model 4.0, this is enabled after you install the latest graphics driver.

I have downloaded the latest drivers for intel hd graphics i3 version 8.15.10.2993 but shaders 3.0 aren't still supported. I checked it by GPU caps viewer and it shows that supported just 2.0 not over

glclal, I am sorry about the trouble, I have confirmed through engineering that once you install the latest video drivers, shader model is available with version 4, please take a look at some specifications here:

Olá boa tarde! Alguém poderia me ajudar? Estava fuçando os programas pelo painel de controle do note para desinstalar algum programa que possívelmente estivesse muito pesado e acabei desinstalando o gpu shader 3.0. Agora meu jogo Pes 2012 não roda mais. Como posso reinstalar este programa?
