I have a new Dell XPS that was shipped without the Bluetooth card. So Dell sent out a technician who installed the 6230 card and new screen cover with two antennas. I am surprised that using my bluetooth headsets I can only wander about 15-18 feet from the computer without the audio developing significant static. My old button bluetooth transmitter is far superior and allows me to wander into other rooms and hear well. Does anyone know what the bluetooth range specs are for the 6230? I suspect that maybe mine is defective. I could not get good information from Dell about this--they said this was normal range but I'm not sure that's correct. Thank you.
