from the Bios i noticed that I have a problem that my cpu has a high temperature 76 - 78 C and i don't know what to do to lower the temperature

my pc specification

cpu: intel core i7 2600K

Motherboard: MSI Z68 A-GD65

Graphic Card: MSI Cyclone N460 GTX

Ram: Kingstone 8 GB

You should check that the CPU cooler is mounted correctly, that is very important. What does the BIOS show the CPU fan speed is? Have you enabled or use the fan speed control software that came with your mother board?

It sounds like the fan on the CPU cooler is hardly running, or that the CPU cooler is not attached correctly.

Hi

thanks for your response

Here the data i got from the bios

CPU smart fan target: 40 C

CPU Min fan speed % : 87.5

SYS fan 1 control: 100 %

SYS fan 2 control: 100 %

CPU Temprature: 78 C

system Temp: 28 C

Cpu fan speed: 1955 RPM

System Fan 1 speed: 1555 RPM

System Fan 2 Speed: 0 RPM

CPU Frequency: 4.2 GHz

I hope you advise me

thank you.

If you are using intel motherboard it is Configured to keep the cpu temerature at 80C, so it will be kept at 80C until it hits 80C and then the fan will accelerate, so you must set that limit lower to 50 ot 60C if you like.

Lowering the CPU voltage helps. The default is 1.200V and the CPU work perfectly fine with somehow lower voltage 1.200 is usually for good overxclocker 4200-4400Mhz and each 400Mhz needs 0.100V less. But you should do your own testing for stabillity.
