Hi,
I'm looking at getting a Laptop(Sony F series) with the Intel® Core™ i7-720QM processor and I plan on doing HD rendering and using Photoshop CS4 alot for my Photography business. With the i7 720 being only 1.60Ghz would it be a mistake to get a one considering what I am using it for or will the i7 720 be able to handle the HD rendering just fine? I know it boost up to 2.8Ghz but will the processor be able to handle 2 hours of HD rendering... that's my main concern.
I know I should be getting a desktop but I need a laptop as I need to use it on the go(weddings, etc)
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Steven

The CPU will handle anything the problem is cooling... laptops running at high load for a long time get hot but it will likely be fine.

Thanks Peter. I have been using a cooling pad with my current laptops... my current laptops can't handle the HD video's at all and that's why I'm having to upgrade.
