Hello,

So recently I decided to update my graphics card drivers since I haven't done so in a while, I went through the process successfully and correctly updated my drivers without any issues.

However now I run into this issue whenever I try to play a game such as Left 4 Dead 2 on my PC, the game loads up fine but when I get into the game my screen freezes and then goes to black and comes back on and I get this message:

My screen would then go to black and come back on two more times and then my PC would end up deadlocking on itself and freezing up. if anyone can help me out here I would be very appreciated!

Here is my dxdiag information:

Hello Sowhart,

This issue you are reporting sounds more like a horsepower issue than a driver issue.

Hello Kevin,

I've never really had any sort of issues when it comes to horsepower with my PC but if that might be the case with my issue, Do you have any possible advice that could potentially help by chance?

Thanks

Sowhart

Please try with the latest generic graphics driver for Microsoft® Windows 7 64bit

Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver, Windows 7* 64, Windows Vista* 64 (exe)

Hello Mike,

The driver version you have specified are the ones that I updated to by using the Intel Driver Update Utility software.
