I understand you would like to perform live streaming on this computer.

I do not see any problem about that. The graphics controller HD 4000 supports Quick Sync; this will enable the graphics hardware to use dedicated media processing to make video creation and conversion faster and easier.

See below for more information:

Thank you Allan for your response!,

I understand your question, but i guess you not mine, so this is the question:

I have 2 laps and 1 Panasonic 1000 cam. My 1st lap is the amazing Latitude E6230 with this video card and 6 gb of ram and i7 processro. The second one, is one old mac laptop.

So i want to make live streaming, with any program like ustream, live streaming, also youtube hangouts live, so with my cam i jut plug the cable to the firewire port on my old lap and thats it.

With my PC laptop, i plug de cam to hdmi port to the hdmi port of my Panasonic cam, and nothing happens (on windows8). so i was thinking if my video card doesnt support input video, or if i need some special program, but i dont think so, so my question was that, this video card support plug for videocams to make streaming.

Thanks in advice!

Your question does not relate to the video card, this is more hardware for your laptop computer. I would recommend contacting your computer manufacturer and get more information about the features that are supported by your computer model.
