This problem might be caused by a corrupted / defective .NET installation. The utilities described http://betanews.com/2015/08/03/net-check-and-repair-tools-now-support-windows-10/ here might help solving the issue.

Hi shibil,

Your pc has a 4 Series chipset. This computer is old now and Acer only has drivers available for Windows® XP, Vista and 7. The support for Windows® 10 is limited, it is necessary to use generic drivers from Microsoft*.

The best drivers for your pc are in the link below:

Oh ok, i had to use this old laptop because of an issue. but anyway i went to the acer website and searched my laptop and in the operating system list there was no windows 10. is it telling me that this laptop is not compatible for windows 10? But when i was in windows 7 microsoft recommended me to use windows 10 saying that its ready to download and its compatible. And you told about it is necessary to use generic drivers from microsoft. I dont get it in microsoft website i mean i partially dont understand. If you are able to, can you give me a link for those? My laptop is Acer Aspire 5735. And the intel update utililty application gave me a driver for update but when installing it happened same like the first person who asked about this problem. That unknown error i have the same problem so please help. I really wanna play minecraft

You could give http://danielkawakami.blogspot.de/2014/08/gma-4500-series-feature-pack-for.html this driver a try. As stated before, Windows 10 is not a supported platform for your machine, so it might or might not work.

Please report back if it does.

Hi shibil,

The support for Windows® 10 is limited. Windows® 10 provides with the generic driver. It is necessary to run Windows® 10 update. Graphics performance is basic.
