Every time I try to use the Intel driver update utility, I get an error when I try to install the latest version of my driver saying "unknown error". How do I fix this?
I have tried registering and unregistering my windows installer, and making sure that it's enabled, however it still won't work.

Hi DonovanStevens1,
Could you please provide me the brand name and model of your board or system? Also let me know which driver you are looking for.
Hi JsunP,
I suggest you to use Hewlett Packard tool to search for the latest drivers. System manufacturers customize our drivers usually and the drivers available in our website are generic and they might not work properly.

Hi DonovanStevens1,
Windows® 10 is intended for newer chipsets. It is fully supported from 8 chipset series. 6 and 7 support it partially (the graphics come embedded on the processor)
The link below provides information about: Supported Operating Systems for Intel® Graphics Products and chipset

In your case, it is necessary to use the generic graphics drivers provided with your OS.

This is causing me to be unable to run certain things, such as minecraft, every time I try it says I need to update my graphics drivers. Are you saying nothing can be done? Or is there another fix?

Hi DonovanStevens1,
The performance of the graphics is going to be limited and some applications will not run on your system.
