A internet não está pegando

Olá,

Não estou conseguindo ligar a internet do meu Laptop(Notebook) por Wi-fi ou por cabo, acho que já achei o problema mas não consigo resolver. Entrei no Gerenciador de Dispositivos e vi que tem alguns programas que não estão instalados no Notebook, e um deles é o Controlador Ethernet, e creio eu que é este o programa pra pegar internet no Notebook. Ai eu tentei atualiza-lo e apareceu uma mensagem dizendo que não existe adaptadores Intel neste computador. Meu Notebook é o Dell Insipron 3420,
