Problem With Updating Drivers

I've been trying to download the latest drivers for my system, an inspiron 1525 laptop with 32-bit Vista. My graphics card is an Intel 965 Express Chipset.

When I try to run the driver update utility, I get this error under driver:

A customized computer manufacturer driver is installed on your computer. The Intel Driver Update Utility is not able to update the driver. Installing a generic Intel driver instead of the customized computer manufacturer driver may cause technical issues. Contact your http://www.intel.com/support/oems.htm computer manufacturer for the latest driver for your computer.

It also says my system is a GM965 card, and that my driver version is 7.14.0010.1409.

Attempting to use the categories system will lead to a driver that should work, but won't install.

Are my drivers up to date enough? Why can't I install any?

Hello,

If you are using Intel Generic Driver, it may not work.

It is best to get the driver from the Dell Support Site.

All the best,

Kind Regards,

Aryan.
