core 2 duo native cooler to use with qx9650 extreme cpu?

I have core 2 duo 2.3 ghz Intel cpu, and I've ordered brand new QX9650 3 Ghz Core 2 Extreme cpu with no cooler and heatsink. Am I able to use native cooler of my old cpu with extreme one?Would anyone make suggestions?

It all depends what you are oging to do, if you are not overclocking, it should be alright, if you are going to you will want to get athird party fan.

try it out and see what temps you get and then make a decision.
