"Unable to start Intel My WiFi Technolohy."?

Does anyone know why this might be happening and if this is why I can't see the wireless network that I want to connect my laptop to? How do I fix it? It's been like this for days and I can't figure it out. Please help.

Are you sure that My Wifi Technology is installed properly?

Did you try this tweak?

Start, control panel, device manager. Click on Network and then right click on your wireless adapter, left click properties, power management. Uncheck the box, allow computer to turn off this device to save power.
