Intel HD 4400 Bugs by older Games

Hey,

Yesterday i was tierd of playing League of Legends and came to the idea to install Sacred Underworld. I installed it, patched it and then... after starting the game i got following graphic bug:

I run an Intel HD Graphics 4400, which is obviously the reason for these problems. Have any of you guys experience with this Intel HD Chipset, running older games? And is there a fix for that? I tried out many driver actulaisation, options in the HD panel and compatibility settings. Google found just other guys with the same errors but no solutiuon of it. I hope you could help me.

I've seen already a thread in this board: including the same problems, but there was also no solution.

There are still many players who want to play these older but briliant games.

Hi curiousdrive,

I understand you are having problems with different old games but let me help you.

Please note the HD 4400 is one or our latest graphics controllers and the game you are using was released on 2005. What I try to say is that even though HD 4400 is one of our latest graphics controller it does not necessarily mean that old game can be playable due to their programming code.

The best step is for you to get the latest update for the game and update the graphics driver. Here is the download link:

8.1 so the win comes with dx11 by default

try updating dx

I already installed this driver. It didn't changed anything.

So i can't play any of my three favorite games? Please don't make me afraid^^

And thank you too for your tip. The installer says that "Eine neue oder gleichwertigere Version von DirecX ist bereits installiert. Eine Installation ist nicht notwendig." "A newer version or equal DirecX is already installed. No installation is necessary."

A direct X actualisation was one of my first tries.
