IDA: internal error: unable to proceed

I got new server, and trying to update BIOS on it.. so when I launch CD with IDA, it throws me an alert.

Then I downloaded IDA from here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=20925 Intel® Download Center (http://downloadcenter.intel.com/confirm.aspx?httpDown=http://downloadmirror.intel.com/20925/eng/IDA_v5.0_Build_5.iso&Lang=eng&Dwnldid=20925 IDA_v5.0_Build_5.iso).. and made a bootable flash drive, but nothing changed.

Now I found a newer version of IDA https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=21848 Intel® Download Center (http://downloadcenter.intel.com/confirm.aspx?httpDown=http://downloadmirror.intel.com/21848/eng/IDA%20v5.0-Build%2019.iso&Lang=eng&Dwnldid=21848 IDA v5.0-Build 19.iso). but there's no such file for it..

Where can I get it?

And what should I do with that error?

server: R1304GZ4GC

Hello Sammy,

I checked the link you posted for version 5.0.19 and noticed that I had to scroll down to the bottom to accept the License terms before it allows me to download the file.

I also checked our https://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx Intel® Download Center and noticed that we have a newer version for the Intel® Deployment Assistant. I went ahead and tried it on my server and I loaded just fine. The version I tried is https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=23137 5.1.13.

Let me know how it goes with this one.

Thank you, David.

I tried to download version 5.1.13, I do accepted the license terms, but that's what I see:

"The file that you are trying to download has either been moved, renamed or archived.

Please go to http://downloadcenter.intel.com/ http://downloadcenter.intel.com and choose your product to find your download."

Anyway, I got along without IDA.

Not sure what is going on. I would probably clear cookies and see if that lets you download it. I just tried it outside our network and did let me download it. Anyway, I am glad to hear you were able to work it out.

Let me know if you need anything else. Have a good day!
