Hi,
I have a few servers using Supermicro X10SLH-F/X10SLM+-F and I wondered...
The motherboard uses Intel I210 NICs by the way.
But still this is mostly processor related. I'm running Xeon E3-1241v3 on these.
I would like to know if this kind of specs support NetDMA and I/OAT
Since NetDMA needs I/OAT, basically, the question is... does the E3-1200v3 series support I/OAT?
I have stumbled accross an Intel document : http://download.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/sb/g84364004_s1200v3rp_tps_r1_3.pdf http://download.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/sb/g84364004_s1200v3rp_tps_r1_3.pdf
It states under 3.3.7 and 3.3.7.1 that E3-1200v3 series do not support DCA and I/OAT2
However it really talks about I/OAT2, that is, version 2.0
So I know my hopes are dead for DCA.
But what about I/OAT? Not the 2.0 but just I/OAT? Is it supported by these processors?
Thanks

Thanks for joining the Processor community.
I understand you are looking for I/O acceleration technology for processor model E3-1241v3.
I am currently researching on this issue. As soon as I can, I will send you a message with my findings. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Allan.

Thank you for your patience. The following is the response from our engineering department:
The server board and the processor do not support I/OAT or NetDMA.
Thanks
Allan.
