Hi,

I don't know if this has been asked before but I'm wondering why there aren't more dynamic performance levels available than the three available on my processor now (Intel Core2 Duo). When the computer idles the processor automatically shifts down a gear. What I don't understand is why isn't there a range from, lets say, 1MHz to the maximum (for my processor) of 1.8GHz?
