Hello,
I want to upgrade my notebook with a new CPU with 64Bit Support.
Aktually a Core Duo T2050 32Bit works in my Notebook with an i945GM Chipset.
Because of Windows7 I want to use the 64Bit Version beacause I have more than 4GB RAM in my NB.
The Intel Core2 Duo Mobile T7500 is my first choice, but I don´t know if it works in my Notebook.
Does the Chipset support this Prozessor and let him run in 64Bit Mode?
The Notebook is an Acer Aspire5610Z with 4GB RAM.
Best regards
Patrick Lemp

Hello,
Well, the best thing to do is to contact Acer Suport and check with them. They must have information on this, because you may encounter bios problem like bios error code due to cpu not compatible with board etc.
Unfortunately, i did not get the chance to upgrade my cpu on my Acer laptop to tell you more about the symptoms that you may get. :-)
Make sure to check with Acer, which SL number for the CPU that have been validated with the board.
One more thing, i guess that you already know this link for the CPU:
All the best,
Regards,
Aryan.
