Hi, bettylu, Thank you very much for joining the Intel® processors communities.
Based on the information in our web site, for this specific processor depending on the tasks and workload of the PC, it is expected to reach up to 100°C or a little bit higher, that is the max value, remember that the less the temperature value the better, so if the temperature is less than 100°C that is good thing it means the processor is not getting overheated. On the link below look for "Package Specifications":

Also, on the following link you will be able to confirm that information, page 91:

As an option, we do have a tool to test the processor, it does an overall test including a temperature test, if the processor passed the test it should be working fine:

Any further questions, please let me know.

Alberto

Thank you for the answer. I would like to know if there are any different ways to install the diagnostic tool in ubuntu linux version without installing fedora?

bettylu, You are welcome.
To answer your question, we do have a version of Intel® processor diagnostics tool for Linux, as you can see in there it works with Fedora* revision 20, 32-bit and 64-bit, but you can always try it with Ubunto, it might work with it. Also, to confirm that information you can always get in contact with their forums support for further peer assistance:

Any questions, please let me know.
