Hello Happyswed,
Thank you for contacting Intel Communities.
Please check http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000022448.html this article regarding TDR issue.
In this case, It is always recommended to install the OEM's (Dell) driver as they may have customized the generic Intel® Drivers to match their specifications or requirements.
You can try installing the latest graphics driver available on our website:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26669/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-45-?product=88345 Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows* [15.45] Version: 15.45.16.4627 (Latest) Date: 3/23/2017
If you keep on having issues after installing the driver, I strongly recommend contacting your system manufacturer.
Please let me know how it goes.
Regards,
JC

I have the same computer and I was having the same problem. Anytime my computer would wake from sleep, the screen would flicker constantly and the display driver would crash for at least two minutes, if I didn't get a blue screen VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE message first. I tried:
- Forcing an update to Windows 10 Creators Update
- Updating Nvidia drivers
- Updating Intel drivers
- Disabling either the Nvidia video card or the Intel one
None of which worked. What ultimately worked for me was downloading http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=5MVK2&fileId=3658752220&osCode=WT64A&productCode=xps-15-9550-laptop&categoryId=VI this driver from Dell's website. It's the one before this new screwy one. I was asked if I wanted to overwrite the new driver, but thankfully it allowed me to do that. I did that about 20 minutes ago and I've put my computer to sleep/woken it up several times and it's behaving as normal. I think Dell put out a buggy driver, I hope they fix this soon.

Happyswed, I would recommend following djten23 advice in case the suggestions before don't work.
If you keep on having issues, the best option would be to contact Dell.

Going off of this: I had the same problem. The first time I was able to simply roll back the driver without manually hunting for it, but I didn't do the necessary second step of preventing Windows Update from automatically re-applying the driver update. Naturally then, upon installing the Anniversary Update, I was greeted with the same problem.
So for everyone else ending up here and discovering that the root of the issue, for most of us anyway, is the 21.20.16.4590 driver, here's the second part you should do after reverting back to 20.19.15.4531 so you don't have to keep installing the old driver after Windows updates:
1. Download Microsoft's "Show or hide updates" troubleshooter package from here: http://download.microsoft.com/download/f/2/2/f22d5fdb-59cd-4275-8c95-1be17bf70b21/wushowhide.diagcab http://download.microsoft.com/download/f/2/2/f22d5fdb-59cd-4275-8c95-1be17bf70b21/wushowhide.diagcab
2. Run the troubleshooter and hit "Next"
3. Click on "Hide Updates" and check off "Intel Corporation - Display - 21.20.16.4590" and hit next
4. Once the troubleshooter has hidden the update, close out of it. You can confirm that the update is hidden by running it again.
And that should prevent this problem from recurring after you've reverted back to the old driver. Hopefully Dell has gotten wind by now of how broken this driver update is. I had a 100% BSOD rate after waking from sleep/hibernate.

Hi rwk94,
I am glad to hear you fixed the issue with Cdw01 recommendations.
As a clarification for /message/466864# 466864 this post, when installing/updating drivers, you may go first with the processor's drivers (graphics driver) and then the discrete graphics drivers.
Please don't hesitate in contacting us back if you need further assistance.
Best Regards,
JC
