Intel HD Graphics 620

I have a screen flickering issue(screen blacks out and returns) when setting refresh rate 4K@60Hz on a Kaby Lake Asrock beebox. Disabling the driver corrects the issue but it leaves me with out audio.I have tried the 3 latest driver updates but problem ensues.

My Equipment chain: Beebox-->Denon AVR x2300-->4K Samsung UN65JS8500.

Please bear in mind that your best contact support is with your system manufacturer as they are more familiar with this system than we are, I know the graphics is from Intel but this graphics driver can be customized to work based on your system specifications and features.

 

 

However; we can try some troubleshooting.

 

 

How do you have this system connected, is it connected through HDMI?

 

 

If you are using HDMI by any chance, have you tried with different HDMI cable? When using 4k resolution it is strongly recommended using high quality HDMI cable. Note that's 1080i, not 1080p. In order to get access to 1080p and 4K content, you'll need a High Speed HDMI cable. Any High Speed HDMI cable can transmit 4K content from your source to your TV.

 

 

Is this issue also present when you have installed the driver from AsRock? If not I suggest you to keep the driver from your computer manufacturer as it is the proper driver for your system.

 

 

If you have issues with your computer manufacturer driver you can try the Intel generic driver. Try uninstalling the driver you have now installed and install the Intel generic driver manually.
