Intel 7260 is a total POS.

I'm sorry but this card is the worst POS I have ever used.

Both on Linux and Windows 7 (using the latest drivers) I get a spinning circle when it is trying to load web pages.

This card is awful.

I will not be buying Intel ever again. Your NUC was awful as well, just too loud. I bought a Gigabyte Brix and it was silent.

Sort yourselves out.

1 - Change the channel on the router to a less crowded one.

2 - Close all other applications that could be using internet in the background if their use are not necessary at the moment you are playing the game.

3 - Optimize your connection:

  • Disable Power Saving Funticons: Go to Control Panel >> Hardware and Sound >> Power Option >> Set the High Performance and apply to default settings
  • Check Change Plan Settings: Change Adavanced Power Settings >> Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 >> Power Saving Mode and make sure both on Battery and Plugged in are set to maximum Performance.
  • On Device Manager >> Network Adapter >> right click on the adappter and select Properties, then select the value of U-APSD support to Disabled.
  • Check the Transmit Power and make sure it is sent to 5. Highest.
