I have an HP ENVY 17, Touch screen. Windows 10 home 64 bit. Intel i7-4710MQ @ 2.50GHz. Intel HD Graphics 4600 Driver version 10.18.15.4248 dated @ 6/29/2015. lately when playing some games the graphics driver fails and recovers, causing me to have to open a task manager and kill the game to regain screen functionality. I know that there are updates for this driver out there. The Intel driver update utility is also telling me that I need to update it, though when I try in that program it prompts me that this computer does not meet the requirements to install. When I try to update it through the graphics driver properties menu it tells me that windows has determined that this driver is up to date. So whatever is happening, I would like to make the crashing stop (which would usually be solved by updating the driver) please advise.
