6700k artifacts and stability

Intel 6700k with Asus Gene VIII motherboard

Hybrid or switchable graphics system?

 

ie Does it have AMD or NV graphics too?

Tried with AMD 290 and stand-alone integrated graphics. During troubleshooting, also tried an Nvidia card

Make and model of any Displays that are used to see the issue (see note2 below). 

LFP = Local Flat Panel (Laptop panel)

 

EFP = External Flat Panel (Monitor you plug in)

EFP. I have tried three separate monitors via DVI, DisplayPort, and HDMI

How much memory [RAM] in the system (see note2 below).

32GB. During troubleshooting I have tried going down to a single 8GB DIMM

Provide any other hardware needed to replicate the issue.

 

ie: Cables&brand, cable type [vga, hdmi, DP, etc], dock, dongles/adapters, etc

Asus Gene VIII motherboard.

Hardware Stepping (see note1 below).

I contacted Intel support over the phone and they sent me a replacement 6700k and that resolved my problem. Thanks for following up.
