[Unresolved] Wireless Pro3945abg 12.4.4.5

Hi All,

I am using the 12.4.4.0 Wireless Pro software utility with the 12.4.4.5 driver. My laptop is Dell Inspiron E1505 using XP Pro. Clean install, running sp3. I have been getting intermittent media disconnects for the last few months. When trying to reconnect to the profile, The proset tells me it is "unable" to connect to profile. I have ran the log function and generated the following partial log (The full log is 260 entries):

The two lines of interest is the swc_start_authentication failure and the failed to set band type. The router is not the issue because I have a second laptop running a different wireless card and has not had an issue during the same time my E1505 has had this problem. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

I have not found a solution to this issue, nor was I able to interpret the log messages. A possibility, that I will attribute this is to excess heat in the WLAN module area. Since this has been a while ago, I am no longer pursuing this issue.
