Hello Intel online. I have a HP dv51235 Pavilion Entertainment PC. It is a laptop. I have an Intel Core2 Duo inside. It does not support Hardware assisted virtualization that I need for XP mode. If I purchase and install a compatible processor, will it fix my problem? What processor would anyone recommend and would that processor be able to (once installed) support virtualization? If not, what else would I need to purchase and why? Thank you and look forward to hearing from anyone soon.

I think the most suitable answer can be given by Intel in house experts as which hardware config will be optimum for your type of usage. You can go to Intel's Live Chat session and get all the information you want directly from them.
