Hi,
I've bought me a Netbook from Samsung (Anynet NC 10 N270 WBT) with the Intel® 945GSE + ICH7M Chipset.
I want to install a SSD. I am using Windows XP Home.
Is it right to include the INI-Files of the SATA Controler for setup of Windows?
If yes, the Intel® Chipset Software Installation Utility does not support 945GSE Chipset.
How or where can I get the right INI-Files to install my Netbook with windows XP Home?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions and help!
Vince

For anyone who has the same issues, here the answer of the Intel support:
Hello Vince,
Thank you for contacting Intel Technical Support.
As far as I understand, you are wondering about installing Windows* XP with a Solid State Drive (SSD), and you would like to know if it is ok to load the .INI files for the SATA controller.
The latest Intel(R) Chipset Software Installation Utility does support the Intel(R) 945GSE Chipset. You can download this software from the following web site:
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=816&DwnldID=18052&lang=eng http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=816&DwnldID=18052&lang=engYou can also load the .INI files directly to the installation image and technically everything should work fine. The only .INI files related to the chipset are available by downloading the following file:
