Intel Centrino Ultimate N 6300 not working with N network.

I am traveling for work and the hotel i am staying in has a N router. I had the Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205 network card previously and it was having connection issues so i bought the Ultimate N 6300 as suggested by a customer service rep from Intel and I am STILL unable to connect to any N routers in the hotel, any G router i can connect to but no N routers. I have the N mode enabled in the settings and I have the latest drivers (15.4) for some reason my computer wont upgrade to the 15.6 version of the drivers. I am the only person having this issue, and i am the only person wirth an Intel based network card. Can someone please shed some light on this situation.

Thank you very much for your post,

Please note that the Intel wireless adapters are meant to be professionally installed by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) technicians on certified systems only.

Also note that these adapters are not meant to be sold separately, your system must be compliant with the required FCC certifications in compliance with the International Special Committee for Radio Interference standards for radiated and conducted electromagnetic interference.

We actually recommend you to first contact the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to determine which product is approved for use in your computer.
