Hi Guys

Question as per subject really, e.g. would 2 of these processors:

Intel® Xeon® E5-2630 2.30GHz, 15M Cache, 7.2GT/s QPI, Turbo, 6C, 95W, DDR3-1333MHz

Be faster than 1 of these?

Intel® Xeon® E5-2665 2.40GHz, 20M Cache, 8.0GT/s QPI, Turbo, 8C, 115W, DDR3-1600MHz [add £526.82]

It'll be a terminal server with 15-20 users running a SQL app locally, a detailed tech answer would be great as would be useful for future.

Help would be much appreciated

Thanksxeon

Usually on server systems the use of a dual processor system provides a better performance to divide the load of the processors in an equal way. The performance difference will be also visible depending on the software optimization.

Individually the Intel® Xeon Processor E5-2665 is more efficient due to its specifications as it has more 2665 has more cores and cache
