Enter ATA password in windows

I'm looking forward to buy 320 series SSD. Its have a really cool FDE feature. But... most BIOSes allow only to enter password for first hard drive on first SATA controller. I plan to mount this drive as second or third. Is there any way to easily enter ATA password in Windows after boot? Its really not a good idea to lock drive and use it only as a primary drive, may be after failure of my computer I would like to copy its content to different drive or so...
