Hello world.

I am just wondering about scratches on mobile CPU. I dont know exactly architecture of these chips. Is that same as on desktop CPU. I think the top layer is just kind of coverage or some of deeper schratches may caused some issues with stability, overheating etc.

Thx for every respond and sorry for my English :-).

Hi Janeck: Thank you very much for joining the Intel® Processors communities.

In regard to your inquiry, the processor should not have any scratches on it because as you mentioned, it might create problems in regards to the performance of the computer. There are a few cases where the processor still works fine even with scratches on it, but if at some point you notice that the computer is having problems then the best thing to do will be to get in contact directly with the manufacturer of it to get further technical or warranty assistance.

Any further questions, please let me know.

Regards,
