I'm playing online games on my laptop with gpu driver mobile intel(r) 4 express chipset family and the fps was decent but then the had some issues so I clean reformat it and reinstall windows. After reformatting my laptop I installed gpu driver mobile intel(r) 4 express chipset family again and kept experiencing this issue. I cant even play games anymore.

I tried to uninstall it and my gpu driver went back to mobile intel(r) 45 express chipset family(Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1). When I play moba games my fps is too low its so frustrating. Can someone please help me fix the issue Im having with mobile intel(r) 4 express chipset family gpu driver?

Hello Noctis,

Thanks for your reply.

After an extensive research, based on information from the official Microsoft website, your issue can be caused due to a driver update required or it can be possible that you are running a program that has a higher graphics demand of what you currently have on your device.

Here it is the link from Microsoft with further details that will help you with your concern:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2665946 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2665946

Also, you can find the following list of Microsoft errors and possible solutions provided by Intel® and your concern it is under the third error:

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005482.html Errors Reported By Microsoft for Graphics Drivers

As one of the solutions provided, you can install the latest graphic driver of your Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T6500:

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005474.html How to Manually Install a Graphics Driver in Windows 7*

This will be the latest graphic driver for you https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/21831/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-XP-64-exe-?product=81507 Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows XP* 64 (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/21831/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-XP-64-exe-?product=81507 exehttps://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/21831/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-XP-64-exe-?product=81507 )

Hi Angie!

Sorry to tell you but nothing works. I tried everything but still I'm stuck with Mobile Intel(R) 45 Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1). When I tried to install the graphic driver you provided for Windows XP I'm encountering an error

I really don't understand, I mean I was able to use the graphic driver Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family very well last time but when I did a clean format and re installation of Windows, I'm having issues with every program that I run.

Hello Noctis,

In order to further help you, could you please provide me with the DxDiag?

To extract the dxdiag.txt, follow the steps below based on your operating system:

Windows Vista* and Windows 7*:
  1. On your Windows task bar, click Start (Windows icon in the lower left of the screen).
  2. Select and press Run. If you do not see Run, hold down the Windows key and press R.
  3. In the "Run" window, type "dxdiag" and click OK. A "DirectX* Diagnostic Tool" window should pop up.
  4. In the new window, choose "Save all information."
  5. In the "Save As" window, the DirectX* information is saved as a text (.TXT) file. Choose the Desktop or another easily accessible location to save your file, and then click "Save."
  6. You can send the saved file to Intel.
Once that you reply I will continue with the investigation.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,
