Event Counters to Measure Memory Bandwith

Hi!

I would like to know how can I measure memory bandwith by using hardware event counters.

I have an application and I want to measure how many bytes are accessed by this application per second. However, I must use just hardware event counters accessed from Intel VTune or Oprofile, for example.
