Windows version: Windows 10 Pro

Version: 1703

OS Build: 15063.608

Intel Proset: 22.6

Network card: Intel I350-t2

Driver version: 12.15.184.0

Driver date: 2017-03-29

I have been trying for weeks to get Nic Teaming working on my Windows 10 machine. However, whenever I try setup a new teaming, Windows 10 would blue screen with error code Bad_pool_caller.

Any suggestion or help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Nelson

Hi Logic,

Thank you for posting in Wired Communities. Have you tried using Intel PROSet 22.4 to try? What is the teaming mode you are trying to configure?

Thanks,

Sharon

I did try 22.4, but same issue. Can't team without my computer going into blue screen. I am trying to create a IEEE 802.ad Dynamic Link Aggregation. I know my HP switch support as I have other devices that are teamed.

Thank you for replying and continued help.

Hi Logic,

Thank you for the information. The serial number should be something look like the one on the website https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/network-and-i-o/ethernet-products/000007022.html

Please feel free to update me.

Hi Sharon,

i just looked and and my nic card is a Lenovo brand with i350-t2 chip. I don't think it should make a different as the intel driver should support it.

I did find an i350-T4 intel brand nic card. I will try it and see if it make a different.

Hi Logic,

Thank you for the clarification. Since this is an onboard NIC on Lenovo* system, please try contact Lenovo for the driver as a customized driver will be more suitable. Please do let me know the result after you tried the I350-T4 NIC. Hope to hear good news.

Thanks,

Sharon

Hi Logic,

Based on the SSU logs, your network adapter's part number is E84075-004 which is an I340-T4 network adapter, but the serial number you provided last time is A0369F837384 365AD H47822-001 (which is an I350-T4V2). Can you help double check?

Please help clarify also at which point the blue screen will occur? Is it the moment you hit the create team button? or during teaming creation procedure (selection of teaming members).

Thanks,

Sharon

For me this happens right when you click on "create team".

With the most recent driver, I was able to overcome this after about 3 tries.

Same issue for me. My computer bluescreen with "Bad_Pool_Caller" Stop code. When the computer reboot, only one nic has IP information on it. However the Team has been created but no traffic is being routed to it.

Here is the SSU Log with the failed teaming (after the bluescreen).
