The Lenovo you mention has an i7 6700HQ, which is a notebook processor, running @2.60GHz.

Hello, All:
Chess, these are the mobile solutions for the 6th Gen http://ark.intel.com/products/family/88392# @Mobile 6th Generation Intel® Core™ i7 Processors from our end, try consulting with Levono the processor model included in that laptop model. I tried checking here http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/ideapad/y700-series/y700-15-inch/ Ideapad Y700 (15") | Solid 15" Gaming Notebook | Lenovo US but there is no specification model, it only states "Up to 6th Generation Intel® Quad-Core i7 Processor".
Regards,
Amy.

Perhaps someone is trying to sell a Lenovo Y700 Ideacenter gaming desktop? Did someone specifically say the y700 at hand is a notebook? Were you just assuming that a y700 is always a notebook? Anyway, the answer is no.

hegenious, that is a good guess.
Chess, have you checked that information? Anyway, it is not possible to include a desktop processor in a laptop.
Regards,
Amy.

Hi, Chess :
I am curious, were you able to get the correct information about the actual CPU present in the device you were going to purchase?
Regards,
Esteban C
