Intel 82915G/GV/910GL chip not recognizing TV connection.

I'm attempting to connect my PC to a TV and I get audio on the TV from the computer but only a blank/black screen for video. I have a HP m1264n PC with an Intel 82915G/GV/910GL chip that doesn't seem to recognize the TV even being connected to the computer. I go to Display Properties/Settings and it only shows the monitor as a selection. No TV. I did turn off the computer and turn it on with the TV connected but still only the montior is shown as a selection. The HP oeprates on XP.

Any ideas?
