Intel's top of the tops solid state drives, the X25-E series models will next month be getting a firmware update, maybe when a 128GB version will also come out to play.

According to Intel, the 32 and 64GB SLC-based SSDs equipped with the new 8840 firmware, which includes 'incremental improvements' over the current firmware, are set to start shipping on August 10. Get ready to update.
