What SATA - AHCI drivers do the N-Series Pentium processors use?

I have searched Intel's site as well as multiple others, after purchasing an N3700-based (Braswell) mainboard. The N-Series Pentiums are SoCs; there are graphics drivers, a form of USB3 drivers, and several other installs --but no SATA controller/AHCI driver. I would much prefer to use Intel drivers than Microsoft's basic AHCI driver if one is available, even just the desktop/workstation driver, but I don't wish to break an OS install, and of course, Windows warns that Intel RST drivers may not be compatible.

Has anyone else tested this, and, what is Intel's position on what drivers should be used?

You could try the latest Intel® Rapid Storage version 14.8

Thank you for the advice. I tried this. Sadly, I get "Platform not supported".

It's a mainboard. An Asrock N3700-ITX.

However, its primary two-port SATA configuration (it has two secondary SATA AHCI ports provided by an Asmedia controller) would be the same as the Intel NUC NUC5PPYH. This system also has no AHCI drivers posted for it on Intel's website; I checked there as well.

Drivers should be provided by the computer manufacturer or motherboard maker; however, since you installed Windows on AHCI mode, the driver is provided by Microsoft as part of the Windows® package.

So, if I bought an Intel NUC NUC5PPYH, where would I find its AHCI drivers, noting that Intel is the manufacturer?

As mentioned, the driver is part of the operating system. There are no downloads for AHCI on Intel site for that NUC model.

Same problem here with Acer Aspire ES1-131-P5CX with Intel Quad Core N3700.

I need SATA/AHCI driver during Windows 7 OS installation. I have tried many drivers but not successfully.

I have got the solution. I use this tool https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25476/Windows-7-USB-3-0-Creator-Utility?product=89190 Download Windows 7* USB 3.0 Creator Utility and it works. I don't need any SATA/AHCI drivers any more. I installed Windows 7 successfully.
