Segunda pergunta: Na placa mãe ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VIII EXTREME , existem 4 slots x16.

First question: I wonder if there SSD P3608 product in version 2.5 "and if there can be installed as U2, igua the product Intel 750 Series 2.5" 1.2TB PCI-Express 3.0 x4 MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD ).

Second question: In motherboard ASUS ROG MAXIMUS EXTREME VIII, there are 4 slots x16. If instaldos two video cards the two slots will work at x8, x8 if you install the SSD P3600 PCIe product in a third slot, will change the three slots x8, x4, x4 or installing the SSD P3608 PCIe does not interfere with plates of video?

Apparently according to the spec of the motherboard there is one PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 slot which runs at a fixed x4 speed independently. If you install the SSD on that slot it wouldn't interfere with the other three:

3 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (x16 or dual x8 or x8/x4/x4, gray)

1 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (x4 mode, gray) <-- [ Install SSD to this wouldn't interfere the other 3 slots mentioned above ]

The ssd is x8, this means that writing and and reading speed will decrease? Which ssd's behavior in this case?

Hello,

The Intel® SSD DC P3608 does not need a specific type of CPU, however, it does have requirements for the BIOS and other system components.

- PCI Express (PCIe*) Gen 3.0 x8 or x16 slot.

- Supported Operating System.

- A platform that support UEFI* 2.3.1 BIOS.

This drive is designed to work with a PCIe* 3.0 x8 interface. If the drive does not get this connection, it may negociate a lower speed, but this is not recommended and the SSD will not work according to the specifications. If your system will not be able to use PCIe* 3.0 x8, then we would advise you to chose an Intel SSD according to the capabilities of your system.

The form factor of the Intel® SSD DC P3608 is Add-in-card, Half-Height, Half-length, Low Profile; it will not work with U.2 cables like the Intel® SSD 750 Series.
