scottymlin, Thank you very much for joining the Intel® Graphics communities.

In order to try to fix this problem we recommend to do a BIOS update on the board to the latest version available, also to install the latest chipset, graphics audio drivers provided by AsRock, according to their web site the latest version is 4542, please try to install that driver:

http://www.asrock.com/MB/Intel/Fatal1ty%20Z270%20Gaming-ITXac/index.asp# osW1064 http://www.asrock.com/MB/Intel/Fatal1ty%20Z270%20Gaming-ITXac/index.asp# osW1064

This problem, is it recently or it started since day one?

Did you made any recent hardware/software changes?

Where did you download the Intel® Display Audio Driver from, do you have a link for it? I do not see it listed in AsRock's web site.

Which Windows version are you using?

Please let me know the results of trying the steps above.

Any further questions, please let me know.

Regards,

Hi Alberto,

After updating BIOS and installing the VGA driver you recommended(4542), I tested over 20 times and it works like a charm. Thank you so much.

I assembled the new PC last week, the OS is windows 10. And since it has this audio issue, I downloaded the driver(4627) directly from Intel website

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/zh-tw/download/26669/Graphics-Intel-Windows-15-45-?_ga=1.94862303.251646077.1491741013 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/zh-tw/download/26669/Graphics-Intel-Windows-15-45-?_ga=1.94862303.251646077.1491741013

In stead of ASRock website, I thought the driver at Intel website should be more updated and thus bug-free. Is my idea wrong? Thank you any way!

Hi, scottymlin, You are welcome. Excellent, it is great to hear the problem got resolved. In regard to your question, remember that the Intel® graphics drivers are generic, that means that they may or may not work in some platforms. So, if you tried the Intel® driver and it does not fix any particular problem, then we recommend to use the driver provided by the manufacturer of the board because that driver was specially design and modified in this case by AsRock to work with your system.

Any other inquiry, do not hesitate in contact us again.

Regards,

Alberto
